About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. This role ensures cost efficiency, accurate reporting, and proper administration of contracts throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate tenders, budgets, and contracts
- Conduct cost planning and value engineering exercises to optimize project expenditure
- Manage progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and assist with dispute resolution
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor project financial performance
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, and clients regarding project costs and variations
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- 1–7 years’ experience in the built environment (main contractor or subcontractor exposure advantageous)
- Proficiency in CCS Candy or similar software preferred
- Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent reporting, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
