About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and confident Quantity Surveyor who can hit the ground running. You’ll be joining a strong, collaborative team environment where communication, adaptability, and initiative are key.
You’ll be expected to manage smaller projects independently while contributing effectively to larger, multidisciplinary developments. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in delivering quality work on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documentation
- Conduct cost planning and control throughout project life cycles
- Manage smaller projects independently, including client liaison and reporting
- Assist with contract administration and progress valuations
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project targets are met
- Maintain accurate cost data and financial project records
Minimum Requirements
- BSc/BTech in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
- Registered as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP
- 2–5 years’ experience in a consulting QS environment (private sector experience essential)
- Proficient in WinQS and DimX (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence
