Job Overview:

The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role includes managing a team of HVAC technicians, coordinating schedules, providing technical expertise, and maintaining high-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership

Oversee daily operations of HVAC technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to maintain high levels of competency and professionalism.

Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce adherence to company policies and safety guidelines.

Project Coordination and Management

Coordinate and schedule HVAC projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and materials.

Manage work orders, track project timelines, and maintain detailed documentation for each project.

Collaborate with other departments, vendors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.

Technical Expertise and Support

Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to HVAC technicians.

Ensure all HVAC installations and repairs comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Perform quality checks on completed work to maintain high standards of service.

Inventory and Budget Management

Manage HVAC inventory and order necessary materials and supplies.

Monitor project budgets, control costs, and report any deviations.

Oversee maintenance and calibration of HVAC tools and equipment.

Customer Service and Communication

Communicate with clients to understand their HVAC needs, resolve any concerns, and provide project updates.

Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an HVAC Technician, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair; knowledge of HVAC codes and standards.

Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage, train, and motivate a team.

Other Skills: Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and perform tasks that involve physical labor.
