Essential Qualifications:

Chartered Civil Engineer MICE or equivalent

BSC Eng in Civil Engineering

Essential Experience:

At least 5 years in a senior Project Management Role with responsibility for a major contract.

Worked on Major projects including highway or industrial park development.

Good construction industry knowledge with a detailed understanding of construction operations.

Good Excel skills, an understanding of proprietary project management software and best practice methodology.

Fluent in English and Spanish (advantageous).

Job Summary: (Description of main purpose of job):

The role is responsible for the planning, co-ordination and control of programs and projects, working closely with colleagues responsible for delivering the services to ensure they are completed on safe time and within budget.

Key Tasks: (Description of main purpose of job):

Contribute to the bidding process and subsequent project set up by agreeing the overall project scope, objectives, timescales and costs with colleagues and partners responsible for delivering the services.

Compile a detailed project plan – what needs to be done, when, by whom, and to what standards, including critical paths and detailed work breakdown schedules.

Identify project risks, threats and opportunities and work with colleagues to develop, mitigate plans and actively manage the risks.

Ensure that all documentation, drawings and plans are controlled and administered in accordance with the document control procedure and appropriate company processes and standards are adhered to.

Manage the project compliance process, ensuring that regular project reviews take place, that senior management are fully aware of progress and potential issues and appropriate authorizations are made.

Proactively flag problems and deviances from plan and initiate corrective actions, effectively communicating any changes and updating project plans and documentation.
