Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Agent with a strong background in luxury residential construction. The ideal candidate will have the technical expertise, leadership ability, and communication skills necessary to ensure projects are delivered on time, to the highest quality, and in line with all health and safety regulations.Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Construction Management (NQF Level 5 or higher)
Valid driver’s licence
Own accommodation
Experience & Requirements:
Proven experience in residential construction, with a preference for luxury housing
Strong understanding of quality requirements and high-end finishes
Technologically adept and open to adopting new systems for operational efficiency
Proficient in project scheduling software such as MS Projects or Smartsheet
Fluent in Afrikaans and English, both written and verbal
Able to work on site in varying weather conditions
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise directly with the Managing Director and report to key stakeholders
Supervise sub-contractors and site workers to ensure efficient operations
Plan and coordinate work according to the project schedule
Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
Place and manage orders for materials per approved procurement processes
Perform site set outs and oversee the execution of all works
Maintain strict quality control of construction methods and materials
Snag and hand over homes in line with high-end residential standards
Identify and resolve construction issues and inefficiencies
Always ensure compliance with health and safety specifications
Prepare and submit regular site progress reports
Motivate and manage on-site teams to meet deadlines and standards
Solve daily site challenges with professionalism and urgency
Operate project management tools and software confidently
