About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Project Manager with a passion for high-end residential construction. The ideal candidate thrives on being on site, enjoys working closely with people, and can confidently engage with colleagues, subcontractors, and clients. This role requires someone who can take ownership of project delivery and uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship and service.

Minimum Qualifications

A professional building-related qualification, such as:

Architecture

Construction Management

Quantity Surveying

Or any relevant built environment qualification (NQF Level 6 or higher preferred)

Experience Requirements

3–5 years’ experience in project management within high-end or luxury residential construction

Strong understanding of construction processes, finishes, and quality expectations

Demonstrated ability to lead site teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders

Comfortable working predominantly on site in an active construction environment

Valid driver’s licence and own transport

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to handover

Coordinate daily on-site activities and ensure alignment with the project schedule

Engage directly with clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations

Lead subcontractors and internal teams to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output

Oversee procurement processes and manage material orders

Conduct site inspections, ensure compliance with design specifications, and maintain strict quality control

Identify risks, resolve challenges, and implement proactive solutions

Manage snagging and final handovers to luxury residential standards

Ensure health and safety compliance at all stages

Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders

Foster strong communication and collaboration across all project participants
