Senior Construction Contracts Manager

We are seeking an experience and highly capable Senior Contracts Manager to oversee and coordinate all aspects of our formwork, steel reinforcing and structural concrete construction operations.

The candidate will be responsible for site management of teams, ensuring high technical knowledge, attention to detail, problem solving, ensuring timelines are met, producing top quality workmanship and accuracy.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, a hands-on approach and ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders including tradesmen, engineers, professional teams and clients.

Minimum Requirements:

·      A valid South African Driver’s License

·      A Construction Management Diploma / Degree would be advantageous

·      Proven technical experience in the field (minimum of 5 – 7 years on site construction management experience).

·      Excellent understand of formwork, reinforcing and concrete

·      Good understanding of reading and interpreting of Architect and Engineering Drawings and Bending Schedules

·      Good understanding of BOQ’s

·      On site measuring accuracy and ability to immediately recognize any anomalies / inaccuracies

·      Excellent attention to detail

·      Highly service and quality workmanship driven

·      Excellent communication skills

·      Excellent people management skills and interactions

·      High proficiency in excel, word, professional email communication and familiarity with OneDrive.
