Key Requirements:

National Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

Trade qualification (advantageous)

3 - 5 years' experience in civil construction (roads, pipelines, pumpstations, concrete works, etc.)

Experience in municipal projects (advantageous)

Exposure to reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying (basic to intermediate)

Quality control and testing (concrete, compaction, materials)

Understanding of SANS and municipal specifications

BOQ measurement and site measurement

Health & Safety compliance (knowledge of Construction Regulations)

Programme monitoring and reporting
