The Finishing Foreman will be responsible for managing and coordinating all finishing works on-site, ensuring a top-quality product is delivered within project timelines. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail and experience managing subcontractors in finishing trades such as painting, tiling, cabinetry, flooring, and fit-out.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all finishing trades to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors' performance.
- Maintain construction schedules and ensure work is completed on time.
- Conduct daily inspections of works to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Identify and resolve any snags or defects in real-time.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and complies with health and safety standards.
- Liaise with the Site Agent and Project Manager for smooth workflow and handovers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Finishing Foreman or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of residential/commercial interior finishes.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- A trade qualification in carpentry, tiling, or similar would be advantageous.
