An exciting opportunity is available for a Junior Site Manager to join a large-scale retail development project in Paarl. This role is ideal for a motivated construction professional looking to grow within a structured site environment while gaining exposure to complex commercial builds and experienced mentorship.
The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in site coordination, programme implementation, quality control, health & safety compliance, and day-to-day site administration — working closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and the professional team to keep the project running efficiently.
This position offers strong growth potential for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to build a long-term career in site management within the commercial and retail construction sector.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
National Diploma of Degree in Construction Management, Building Science, or a related built-environment field.
2 - 4 years of post-qualification site experience.
Proven hands-on involvement in the construction of commercial retail, or similar large-scale buildings.
Working knowledge of construction methods across structure, masonry, finishes, and services coordination.
Familiarity with the Constructions Regulations (OHS Act, 85 of 1993) and standard site health & safety practices.
Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project (or equivalent scheduling tool).
