We are recruiting for a major water treatment infrastructure project in Lesotho, involving the construction of a large-scale water treatment works over a 24-month programme.

This is a full-time, site-based position where the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical installations, pipework, equipment, testing, and commissioning activities meet the required quality standards, project specifications, and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:
- Quality control and assurance across all mechanical works on site
- Inspection and verification of works against drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
- Identifying, documenting, and driving the close-out of non-conformances
- Maintaining accurate quality records, checklists, and inspection documentation
- Liaising with engineers, project teams, and subcontractors on quality matters
- Supporting compliance with the project's Quality Management Plan
- Verifying mechanical installations, pipework, and equipment against project requirements
- Witnessing and documenting mechanical testing and commissioning activities

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree of Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent).

Additional certification in quality assurance will be advantage.

Minimum 8 years' cumulative relevant experience.

Demonstrable experience in quality control and assurance on mechanical works.

Experience on large infrastructure or water-related projects (advantageous).

Willingness to be based full-time on-site in Lesotho for the project duration.

Strong attention to detail and sound report-writing ability.
