We are recruiting for a hands-on professional to take ownership of Health & Safety compliance across active construction sites, while also supporting HR and industrial relations functions.
This varied role includes maintaining the H&S management system, conducting site inspections and audits, compiling safety files, leading toolbox talks and inductions, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with the OHS Act, Construction Regulations and client requirements.
The ideal candidate will have relevant Health & Safety qualifications, strong construction industry exposure, and experience handling HR/IR matters.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Relevant qualification in Health & Safety (e.g. SAMTRAC or similar) and/or HR.
Experience in a similar dual or combined role.
Working knowledge of the OHS Act, Construction Regulations, LRA and BCEA.
Experience handling IR matters and CCMA processes.
SALARY:
R15,000 - R25,000 per month, depending on experience.
