Candidate Quantity SurveyorConstruction Recruitment is looking for a Candidate Quantity Surveyor to join a values-driven and collaborative team in the Cape Winelands.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated QS professional who wants to grow within a consulting environment, gain exposure to a variety of residential, commercial, hospitality, and industrial projects, and receive mentorship from a highly esteemed senior Registered QS.
The role will include project cost management, BOQs, tender support, contract administration, cost reporting, payment valuations, and client engagement.
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, well-organised, proactive, and confident in communicating with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying, or equivalent NQF - recognised qaulification, from a recognised institution.
Candidate membership or working towards SACQSP registration (essential).
0-3 years' relevant QS experience; exposure within a consulting or multi-disciplinary practice advantageous.
Sound understanding of construction cost management processes and standard methods of measurement.
