Quantity Surveyor

Our client is an established, NHBRC-registered building contractor with a strong in-house QS team and a growing footprint across the Western Cape. Known for integrity, quality output and on-time delivery, they're looking for a self-driven, detail-oriented and hands-on Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Quantity take-off and preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
* Cost planning, measurement and cost control across building projects
* Preparing detailed quotations and tenders in line with client needs
* Supporting contract managers with commercial input and progress reporting
* Assisting the team to determine and re-imagine costs to meet client budget constraints

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

A completed tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying.

Relevant experience in the building or civil industry (a strong recommendatiion).

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal contracts.

Proven quantity take-off and BOQ preparation ability.

Advanced computer skills in Excel, CCS Candy or related software.

SALARY:

R35,000 - R45,000
