Overview:
We are seeking a capable and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with 4 to 6 years’ experience to join a dynamic construction team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have strong technical acumen, hands-on experience in cost management, and a working knowledge of CCS Candy and JBCC. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of QS responsibilities from procurement through to final account stage.

Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare BOQs and cost estimates based on architectural drawings.
· Manage procurement, negotiate rates, and ensure compliance with contract terms.
· Administer subcontractor and supplier agreements, track payments, and handle variations.
· Submit monthly valuations, track cost-to-complete, and support cash flow management.
· Assist in drafting final accounts and project close-outs.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using CCS Candy and Excel.
· Prepare and submit monthly cost reports for management review.

Requirements:
· BSc (Hons) or BTech in Quantity Surveying (required).
· 4 to 6 years' experience in a main contracting environment.
· Proficient in CCS Candy and MS Excel.
· Working knowledge of JBCC and general construction contracts.
· Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
· Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
