Our client makes extensive use of new technologies. This applies to tools for architectural work, general working with cloud documents, all the way down to our own building technology and manufacturing that we continuously further develop and optimize.

They are looking for an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our energetic team. working on a diverse portfolio of international construction and development projects. This is a unique opportunity to gain global exposure while being based locally. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in estimating, contract administration, and cost control.

Minimum requirements

·       Minimum of 8 years of experience, including site experience.

·       Ability to take ownership but still work within the team.

·       Degree / Diploma in quantity surveying.

·       Own reliable vehicle and a driver's license.

·       Strong organizational skills, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and plan your time.

·       Sound knowledge of the JBCC and other relevant building contracts

·       Extensive and demonstrable experience with CCS (Candy) is a mandatory requirement for this role.

·       Mandatory experience in estimating and rate build-up

·       Excellent construction- and general project management skills

·       Working hours will be standard SA times, but there will be instances of attending meetings after 5 or before 8 to align with time zones of project locations.

§  Long lead items

§  Daily Purchase orders

·       Administration

§  Trade start-up lists

§  Subcontractor contracts & appointments

§  Labor only contracts & appointments

§  Monthly subcontractor bookings/certificates

§  Contractual correspondence

§  Variation order pricing

§  Coordinate closely with international consultants, stakeholders, suppliers, and

professional teams across time zones.
