Role Overview
They are looking for a skilled and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting the financial and contractual management of construction projects, with a strong focus on cost control, procurement, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in quantity surveying and be ready to take the next step in their career with an international opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare and manage cost estimates and budgets for ongoing and upcoming projects.
· Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing contractual documentation and agreements.
· Oversee tendering processes and evaluate contractor and supplier bids.
· Monitor project expenditures, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
· Coordinate procurement of materials and services to meet project timelines.
· Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure contractual compliance.
· Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
· Maintain thorough records of project costs, quantities, and related documentation.
· Support senior quantity surveyors in handling claims and resolving contract disputes.
· Ensure projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
· Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
· Proficiency in cost management and take-off software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel).
· Sound knowledge of construction contracts and procurement best practices.
· Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork capabilities.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
· Membership or working towards professional registration (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
· Experience with sustainable construction practices or exposure to commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
Remuneration & Benefits
· Annual Salary: USD $100,000 – $110,000

· Leave: 10 working days annually (excluding public holidays)
