Our client is on the lookout for a driven and energetic Civil or Structural Engineer (BEng) to join their growing consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in building inspections, maintenance, and refurbishment. You’ll play a key role in identifying structural issues and driving projects through to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct detailed inspections of existing buildings to identify structural or maintenance issues.

· Compile and issue professional technical reports with practical solutions.

· Prepare and issue technical drawings related to remedial and maintenance works.

· Manage projects from inception to close-out, acting as Principal Agent under the JBCC contract framework.

· Contribute positively to a collaborative and fast-paced work environment—bring energy, ownership, and yes, be lekker.

Minimum Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng).

· PrEng registration is not mandatory but will be seen as a strong advantage.

· Solid understanding of common building defects and remedial strategies.

· Familiarity with JBCC contract administration.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
