Overview:
A leading design and construction studio is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor at their Cape Town office. This is a key role for an experienced professional who can lead and manage the full QS function across a variety of high-end residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage cost planning, tendering, and contractual processes
• Prepare and review BOQs, budgets, and financial forecasts
• Handle procurement, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors
• Assess and certify monthly valuations and contractor claims
• Administer contract instructions, variations, and EOTs
• Conduct final account preparation and close-out reporting
• Provide strategic cost advice to internal teams and stakeholders
• Track project progress and report on financial status

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying
• 6+ years of relevant post-qualification experience
• Proven experience with a main contractor is essential
• Expert-level proficiency in CCS Candy is non-negotiable
• Strong knowledge of JBCC contracts
• Excellent attention to detail, negotiation skills, and project reporting abilities
• Capable of working independently and leading QS function on projects
