Our client is in need of a full time DRAUGHTSMAN and with your experience in AutoCAD, you can apply for this position at our concrete precast factory outside Durbanville. We manufacture precast hollow core slabs and other precast elements, which we supply to the construction industry. This position will report to the Design Engineer. We expect the possible candidate to be able to:

·       Timeously design accurate, efficient and cost-saving panel layout and designs from architect plans received by clients

·       Compile accurate quotation calculations

·       Ensure all necessary supports, crane and transport details are accurately included in estimated drawings and calculations

·       Ensure all work is saved in the correct formats and folders

·       Assist with bending schedules, crane size determination and all other estimation and design needs

·       Assist with any draughting needs instructed by management

·       Assist the Hollow core Coordinator and Administrator in the effective flow of the quotation process

·       Liaise with clients when needed

 Requirements:

AutoCAD program qualifications

Fast learner

Good communication skills

Grade 12

High level of numeracy and literacy

Excellent interpersonal skills

Accuracy

Own transport

In return you will get a market related salary; become member of a provident fund; annual close down in December during builder’s holiday. Working hours are from 7:00 to 17:30, but only until 15:00 on a Friday.
